Why Reverse Engineer?
A product is reverse engineered for a variety of reasons. The aim is always to understand how it works and how it was designed. This applies to components, sub-assemblies or a complete product. Reasons are varied but typically conform to one of the following :-
Duplicating existing products in the event of lost documentation.
Understanding weaknesses within a design
Improving existing products to surpass a competitors product.

PCB CAD Files
We engage with a number of PCB manufacturers in the cases of lost CAD information. PCB's are x-rayed and files made available to allow reconstruction of the original layout. Single sided or multi layer boards are catered for. A complete CAD package can include circuit diagrams with point to point connection detail, bill of materials (BOM) and replacement parts for obsolete components. Prototypes can be made available if required.
